Extensive Reading
So I just wanted to mention that I recently discovered extensive reading. Through an AJATT tweet I found Liana's Extensive Reading Blog which lead me to Culture Quirk's Video. I am only just starting to find out about it, but it seems like just what I need to be doing. I just need some super easy level one books. Luckily in the area are some lovely japanese bookstores and libraries!

Good luck! If you find some particularly good resources, let me know -- I'm thinking about writing a post about where to find good books for extensive reading. Finding level 1 books that are fun seems like a challenge, but you might see if you can find the ねずみくん books (and if you find any other books you really like, maybe you'd be interested in doing a guest review? ^^).
